Set in South Australia's State Sports Park, The State Hockey Centre offers 2 FIH accredited pitches for competition and training activities. The Centre is complimented by full amenities, including a food and beverage outlet, licensed venue, private meeting room and an impressive function/conference room, with floor to ceiling glass walls, that overlooks the dynamic State hockey pitch 1, with the Mount Lofty Ranges as a backdrop.

The State Hockey Centre is managed by Hockey SA on behalf of the Government of SA. All enquiries including opening hours, competitions, events, booking enquiries should be directed to the Centre.
The FIH approved water-based playing surfaces, favourable year-round weather conditions and organisational expertise combine to make the facility a very attractive venue for international visitors training in Adelaide. All facilities are available for hire, subject to sport priorities. Corporate and public catering can be arranged.
During 2013 the lighting of the main pitch was upgraded to meet National facility requirements and a second pitch was constructed, to FIH requirements at a cost of $3.309 million.
The National Women's Masters Championships were held at the Centre in October 2013.
The Australian Hockey League Championships were held at the Centre in October 2014.
