Dangers of Weight Cutting Seminar

Dr Duncan Walker is a specialist in sports and exercise medicine and is one of the team doctors for the Adelaide Crows, and head doctors for the 36ers, Lightning, and Thunderbirds, along with experience as primary ringside physician for amateur boxing. Recently Dr Walker held a series of seminars for South Australia Sports Medicine Australia regarding the effects of concussion. He also holds an interest in current research relating to combat sports and the effects of dangerous weight cutting practices.

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing have arranged an information seminar regarding “dangerous weight cutting” at the ORSR office on Saturday 31 August 2019 from 9.00am – 10.30am.
