SASI invites athletes who meet the criteria for an elite or country athlete to apply for this opportunity. The IAP provides athletes with the potential to access funding, sport science servicing and high performance training facilities.
The program provides support to talented athletes to continually improve their skills and ability in an environment that supports and encourages excellence.
Recently 11 SASI Individual Athlete scholars competed at the Rio Olympic Games with Jared Tallent headlining the group with an outstanding performance in the 50km Race Walk to claim the Silver medal. We now turn out attention to the Rio Paralympic Games commencing on the 7th September where 9 of our athletes will be competing.
To find out if you are eligible for the program and further details, please see the link below.
