In this exclusive episode of 'Off the Bike', two legends of Australian track cycling return to the track that made them household names, the Adelaide Super-Drome.
Shane Kelly interviews Anna Meares, Olympic gold medalist and World Track Cycling Champion, to find out more about her development as a cyclist and the people that helped her progress along the way.
From her start as a young BMX rider she progressed to the track. At first she was there to ‘make up the numbers’, but inspired by a burning desire to beat her older sister, and a bit of help along the way, Anna progressed to become the best track cyclist in the world.
And with less than a year until the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Anna shares what it will take to stay at the top of her game.
