16 October 2015

More than 1400 athletes from 35 nations will be in Adelaide vying to be the 2015 ITU World Duathlon Champion.

Events will be staged over 4 days. The Men’s and Women’s championship will be decided on Saturday. On Sunday the paras, age groups, sprint and relay championships will be decided.

Duathlon athletes will begin with 10km run, jump on their bikes for a 40km ride and finish with a 5km run.

The transition is located on North Terrace adjacent to the Festival Centre, and with run along the Riverbank and the bike course looping around Wellington Square in North Adelaide, it promises to be a great spectacle.
