The 15th edition of the Australian Masters Games will be hosted in Adelaide, South Australia in October. It is expected over 10,000 participants will compete across approximately 60 different sports.
Utilising some of the states best sporting facilities including SA Athletics Stadium, Superdrome, State Shooting Park, SA Netball Stadium, AM Ramsay Rowing Course, SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre and the Pines Hockey stadium, athletes will be sure to perform at the top of their game.
The event is open to anyone. The only criteria to compete in the Australian Masters Games is that you must meet the minimum age requirement, which in most sports is 30+ years. It does not impose qualifying standards and welcomes participants from all over the world.
The Australian Masters Games is also renowned for its social program. A variety of social events are scheduled throughout the week, providing a festival atmosphere for both competitors and visitors to Adelaide.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Australian Masters Games and make a huge contribution to the success of the event. Organisers are looking for 1,500 friendly volunteers to assist in areas such as:
