Amy Gillett Bikeway Stage Three Open Day

13 February 2013

Amy Gillett

South Australians are invited to attend the Amy Gillett Stage Three Open Day this Saturday at Charleston Community Centre and The Historic Coach House, Mt Torrens.

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) is proposing a further seven kilometre extension of the cycle path as part of Stage 3 of the Amy Gillett project.

When complete, the Amy Gillett Bikeway project will provide a 32 kilometre multi-use sealed path, which will run along the former rail corridor and eventually link six Adelaide Hills towns from Oakbank to Mt Pleasant.

At the Open Day you will have the opportunity to view the plans for stage three and provide feedback to the project team members.

The Open Day will be held at:
  •     Charleston Community Centre - 10.30am to 12.30pm
  •     Historic Coach House, Mount Torrens - 2pm to 4pm
Those who are unable to attend the open days can view the proposed alignment at the Woodside Library from 15-28 February.

Work on Stage Three is expected to begin mid March 2013.
